Hello, I'm Rajat.
I am a full-stack engineer with more than 20 years of experience across application development, platform engineering, and production infrastructure.
I am currently contracting with the team building a next-generation serverless platform using WebAssembly and Spin. I manage infrastructure deployments across more than twenty regions using Terraform and ArgoCD, and I contribute to control plane services built with Golang, Rust, and gRPC.
I am a contributor and member of the Spin (A CNCF project) and a maintainer of spin-go-sdk.
Alongside that work, I build products such as OneDash and BugReporter to streamline my own workflow, and custom systems such as an LMS and a Dispatch System to address real business operational needs.
Previously, at Fermyon Technologies, I was responsible for the infrastructure behind Fermyon Cloud. I built integrations using Vault, Terraform, Nomad, and Consul, and I also delivered backend services using Golang, Rust, and Postgres.
Before Fermyon, I was a founding engineer in Cloud15 at Proofpoint. We built an internal application delivery platform designed to take teams from idea to production in fifteen minutes or less. I developed Kubernetes controllers and platform integrations that connected modern cloud-native workflows with legacy enterprise infrastructure.
At Proofpoint, I also led QA infrastructure improvements that helped the organization move from one release every two years to one release every month. That work included moving Selenium UI tests to headless execution, running them on containers and Kubernetes, and building a QA dashboard for centralized control, analytics, and automated triage. I received Proofpoint's Outstanding Technical Contributions award from the CEO for this work.
I have also built and shipped multiple hackathon projects during my time at Proofpoint, several of which went on to win internal recognition.
